{"id":3167,"date":"2024-03-25T16:11:51","date_gmt":"2024-03-25T15:11:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unescochairgced.it\/?p=3167"},"modified":"2024-03-25T16:26:58","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T15:26:58","slug":"3167","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unescochairgced.it\/en\/2024\/03\/25\/3167\/","title":{"rendered":"Global Education Digest 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are pleased to confirm the release of the\u00a0sixth\u00a0edition of the\u00a0Academic Network on Global Education &amp; Learning\u00a0(ANGEL) project&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Global Education Digest<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/discovery.ucl.ac.uk\/id\/eprint\/10188239\/1\/Digest%202023%20FINAL%20High%20Quality.pdf\">Download here the volume<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project\u00a0aims to trace, collate, and make available academic and research materials relevant to the field of global education in 9 different languages, providing an invaluable guide for\u00a0<strong>researchers, policymakers\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>practitioners<\/strong>, and facilitating an overview of the development of this area of research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0identified publications\/bibliographies are now listed in the new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/projects.dharc.unibo.it\/digestgel\/records\">GEL Database<\/a>\u00a0(Global Education and Learning), an open-access research platform hosted by the\u00a0<strong>University of Bologna<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Digest project aims to achieve several goals simultaneously:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide a comprehensive picture of the relevant literature published in GE in the most widely&nbsp;spoken European languages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring together data from several disconnected publishing spheres, facilitating comparison and&nbsp;encouraging reflection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Directly illustrate the linguistic asymmetries and language barriers within academic publishing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing a project and a resource that would galvanise and develop the ANGEL community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s<strong>&nbsp;published report<\/strong>&nbsp;contains data summaries, discussion, and analysis of the project research by all 9 contributor teams, as well as the general introduction and reflections on the whole project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have a look at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=50IcrOS2j3k\">video<\/a> of the contributors&#8217; reflections and discussions on new global trends in this important research area.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"482\" height=\"241\" src=\"https:\/\/unescochairgced.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/unescochairgced.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-1.png 482w, https:\/\/unescochairgced.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-1-300x150.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 482px) 100vw, 482px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 6th edition of Global Education Digest is now available.
