Sustainable tourism between local heritage and global citizenship

On Thursday 10 November from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Aula Alberti 7 of the Rimini Campus, will host a study day with the aim of bringing to light research and reflections on the issues of sustainable tourism, the importance of local cultural heritage, the possible governance strategies and the ways in which policy action favors positive dynamics between heritage conservation, tourism practice and sustainable development.

Furthermore, the conference will focus on the connection between sustainable tourism and global citizenship education on the basis that travel experiences enable the individual to relate the local to the global, to confront and sometimes clash with otherness.

The day will be divided into two sessions: 9:00 – 12:30 / 14:00 – 17:15
