As part of its cultural programme, the Tunisian Consulate in Bologna, in partnership with the UNESCO Chair in Global Citizenship Education of the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna and with the support of Bologna City Council, is pleased to invite you to the screening of the documentary film Sh’hili (2024).

The film is dedicated to the issue of climate change, with a particular focus on both shores of the Mediterranean.

Through first-hand testimonies on the effects of climate change, Sh’hili highlights the scale of a challenge that transcends national borders. The documentary, created by Tunisian geographer Habib Ayeb, Professor Emeritus at Paris 8 University, captures with rare sensitivity the human dimension of these changes and their repercussions.

Synopsis
Filmed in France, Italy, Tunisia, and Morocco, Sh’hili addresses the multiple dimensions of climate change from a perspective that champions climate justice, the protection of the most vulnerable populations, the defence of life, and resistance to all forms of domination.

Duration: 77 minutes

The screening will be followed by a debate with the director.
