Book launch with Emiliano Bosio and Maria Guajardo

The series of “Lunchtime Seminars” promoted by the UNESCO Chair in GCEHE, which started in March with Ricardo Römhild (University of Münster) with the presentation “Language Pedagogy of Hope: Idealistic Dream or Viable Path towards Transformation?” proceeds with the launch of the book “Value-creating Education” edited by Emiliano Bosio and Maria Guajardo (Routledge).

During this event, that will take place on Thursday 11th April from 13.00 to 14.30 at the Mondolfo Lecture Hall, Via Zamboni 38 (Bologna), the authors will reflect on the main themes of the book and will engage in a discussion with Monte Joffee, Vicki Mokuria, Alankrita Chhikara, Iain Coggins, Simon Høffding and Sarah Wider, coordinated by Massimiliano Tarozzi, on questions such as

• What is value-added education?
• Why is it important to initiate a discussion that extends the current academic debate on value-added education into the academy and beyond?
• How do the educators featured in the book, from both the Global South and the Global North, perceive value-added education?
