Master’s Degree in Education for the Reception and Integration of Migrants, Asylum Seekers and Refugees

The Department of Educational Sciences “Giovanni Maria Bertin” of the University of Bologna organises the first level Master’s degree for the training of professionals working in the reception system for asylum seekers, refugees and migrants on Italian territory.
The Master’s degree, directed by Professor Bruno Riccio, has been designed in collaboration with organisations and institutions active in the reception sector and will provide the theoretical, methodological tools and technical skills necessary to intervene in the complexity of migratory phenomena.
The Master’s programme has a maximum of 30 participants and will be delivered in a conventional mode, requiring attendance at 70 per cent of the activities. Students are also required to complete a 500-hour work placement. The deadline for applications is 14 December 2023.
