Applications Now Open: IPEP Summer School 2026 on Geopolitical Dis/rupture and Education Policy, University of Verona
LUNCH-TIME SEMINAR SERIES
On 3 March 2026, Jason Goulah (DePaul University, Chicago) will deliver a lunch-time seminar titled “Value-Creating Education for Global Citizenship.” The talk will explore the educational thought of Tsunesaburō Makiguchi, Jōsei Toda, and Daisaku Ikeda and their contributions to the field of value-creating education for global citizenship. The seminar will take place from 13:00 to 14:30 in Aula Mondolfo (via Zamboni 38) and will be held in English.
Advancing Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship in the Mediterranean Context
The Advanced Skills Course “Advancing Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship in the Mediterranean Context: Resource Recovery and Environmental Challenges”, organised within the TNE_MARE project, has concluded. The programme combined an online phase with an intensive week in Tunis.

Sustainability in a Global Perspective
On 2–3 March, the Sala VIII Centenario (Via Zamboni 33, Bologna) will host an international Forum exploring sustainability from a global perspective. Scholars from Italy, the United States and Japan will engage in interdisciplinary dialogue, bringing together ten partner institutions.
