On Saturday 15 October, the UNESCO Chair in GCED and the Institute for Advanced Studies are organising a conference in Palazzo Marchesini, Bologna. Among the experts, we are glad to announce Greg Biesta who will deliver the lecture ‘The aim of education in an age of measurement’.

On 27 September, Raffaella Faggioli, member of the UNESCO Chair in GCE at the University of Bologna, gave a lecture at the ITC Valturio, Rimini (IT) on how education can be a vehicle for sustainable actions.

The international conference organised by the Magna Charta Observatory was held in Bologna from 14 to 16 September 2022. Among the prominent guests Giovanni Molari (Magnifico Rettore Alma Mater Studiorum) and Massimiliano Tarozzi (UNESCO GCED Chair).

On 17 September 2022, UNESCO co-organised in New York the TES ‘Meaningful Initiatives in the Transformation of Education. A Global Citizenship Education Perspective’. The event was broadcast on the official UN Web TV.

On 20 September 2022, UNESCO will launch the UNESCO Framework for Enabling Intercultural Dialogue and accompanying global report, We Need to Talk: Measuring Intercultural Dialogue for Peace and Inclusion.
